INSURANCE CLAIMS
Insurance companies have limitations to the policies which you carry on your home. Utilizing a contractor that is well versed in handling insurance claims is vital to achieving a satisfactory outcome with your insurance company. All policies have limitations and timelines for recognizing damage to a home from a weather related event. I am well versed on all facets of achieving a favorable outcome on your insurance claim. It is most important to be represented by a contractor prior to initiating a claim. Many times I am called after an insurance adjuster has already been to the home making it more difficult to secure a favorable claim for our clients.
THE PATH TO A SUCCESSFUL CLAIM
1. Select your contractor and have them inspect for damage.
2. Provide the contractors information to the insurance company if damage is identified.
3. Let the insurance company know that you are being represented by this company.
4. The insurance company will contact your contractor and set a time and date to inspect the property together.
***Failure to involve a contractor early on may result in an unsatisfactory outcome on your claim.
